The 2017 Women Making Waves event, a three-day screen industry celebration, wrapped up on Sunday, March 5, with the announcement of the 2017 WAVE Awards recipients and the winner of the Pitch This competition.
The three-day event honouring women who’ve had outstanding contributions in the screen industry in Atlantic Canada wrapped up March 6 and Nova Scotian women represented the province well.
This June, the Island Media Arts Coop (IMAC) will be hosting the 11th P.E.I. Screenwriters’ Bootcamp, a professional development workshop series for emerging screenwriters and producers from Atlantic Canada.
